Visit Canberra has deployed Interlike Selfie Station as a permanent installation in the picturesque corner of the visitor information centre. Always on, set and forget social photo booth enables visitors to create a fun themed photo and share it with friends and family back home in real time.
Results
The Interlike social photo station is a very popular engagement activity at the centre. It is especially popular in Spring when the City plays host to the annual Floriade - Canberra's most iconic annual tourism event and Australia's premier spring festival. Interlike photo marketing has contributed to Visit Canberra's recent success, winning 2017 Category for Visitor Information Services Award Canberra Region Tourism Awards.

Visitors User Journey
  • Step 1 Choose overlay
    • By swiping left and right visitors cycle through pre loaded augmented photo filter options. The centre updates filters based on seasonality and special events taking place within the region.
  • Step 2 Enter Details
    • To receive the personalised photo, visitors complete a form with their details. Name and email are set as mandatory fields and an optional check box to sign up to the newsletter from Visit Canberra.
  • Step 3 Receive the photo and Share
    • The photo is delivered instantly via email or sms with buttons to share to visitors' personal social channels.
